Paul’s letter to the Ephesians ranks as a great model for the Christian Church. He called himself the prisoner of Christ Jesus. This writing, known as the Queen of the Epistles, was an open letter to all the churches in Asia-minor advising the future unity of things in the church could never be found anywhere but in Christ.
Paul told the gentiles of God’s grace and that he became a servant of the gospel. He continued to preach to the gentiles and encouraged them not to be discouraged but urged them to live a life worthy of the calling they received. We are all one in the spirit.
If we are not in peace with God, we cannot be at peace with others. If our right-relationship is built on a peace-bond or restraining order, this is not what God has for us because unity — which is built on a foundation of peace — begins with our own attitudes.
