Description

This chapter in the book of Psalm was written after the exile when the Israelites were in Babylonian captivity. This is a special song used in the new temple of God. The Jews would sing to the God of Israel’s glory, praising the Lord!

Surgery is a medical specialty that uses operative manual and instrumental techniques on a person to investigate or treat a pathological condition such as a disease or injury, to help improve bodily function, appearance, or to repair unwanted ruptured areas. Psalm 147:3 teaches us that God heals the brokenhearted; like a cracked or broken mirror. You cannot put yourself together again. It can be someone extremely unhappy or someone overcome with sorrow or grief; shackled by a heavy burden.

God binds the wounds to a full, perfect healing. The Lord who heals is, in fact, able to heal and restore extensive pain and suffering. In case you have fallen by the wayside of life, you don’t have to stay in the shape you’re in. You who are broken and need mending. Give God the fragments of your life. He is the potter, and wants to put you together again.
