Paul wrote this letter to the Christians in Rome. This book of Romans ranks 6^th in these writings, but it ranks 1^st in doctrine.
Paul talks about us giving our bodies as a living sacrifice. He tells us not to conform to the patterns of the world. We must be transformed by the renewing of our minds; where Satan first attacks. We must be humble. We mustn’t think of ourselves more highly than we ought. We must think of ourselves with sober judgement. Get rid of egos and stop listening to strange words. If necessary, ask somebody to lead you through the Word of God.

Paul writes about love in action. It must be sincere. Hate what is evil and cling to what is good. Show devotion to one another in love. Bless those who persecute you. Pray for those who ruffle your feathers. Bless and do not curse. Cursing means to devote to destruction; using the "Sic ‘em God" attitude.

We are to model Jesus. He said, “forgive them [Raymond]. Rejoice with those who rejoice. Feel good instead of envy. As a people, we don’t rejoice when something good happens to others. But we should. Live in harmony with one another. Live like Ebony and Ivory. Be on one accord in common hopes and desires.

Be willing to associate with people in low positions. Do not be conceded. Keep your mind open and teachable. See your own errors and learn from them. Do not repay anyone evil with evil; tit for tat. Let all of your actions be justifiable. Avoid being offensive. If it is possible, as far as it depends on your life, be at peace with everyone. We as Christians can only be responsible for our own selves, therefore, we must be at our best with keeping peace. Do not take revenge. But the Lord says He’ll repay. He’ll avenge.

The hard lesson is to learn that no human being has the right to judge anybody. Only God can do this, and vengeance belongs only to Him.
