When you’re at an airport waiting to board your plane, you see the monitor flashing "flight delayed". You now become concerned that you may miss a connecting flight or need to arrange a different pick-up. You are stuck in a holding pattern!

Now, when it comes to us, we may be stuck because we don’t want to know God’s will for our lives. We don’t want to listen to Him  because of fear of the unknown. But we may have to change our ways or lifestyles. Sometimes God’s will for us is on hold until we get some other things right. Discovering God’s will for us may put us in a holding pattern and cause us to feel stuck or delayed. But it does not mean that we will not, at some point, take off.
