While in a Roman prison around AD63-64, the Apostle Paul wrote a letter―an appeal―to the Philippians encouraging Christian unity; being on one accord. He told them that there are false teachers on the rise and to be careful of what they were teaching. He encouraged the Philippians to check the words of the false teachers by the Word of God. Mature believers can go directly to God, even in moments of imperfection. For we are made in the image of God; and He don’t make no junk! In every situation by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let us present our requests to God.
