Description:

This scripture written around AD62-63, was intended as a circularized letter for the Jewish and Christian communities in Ephesus. Paul urges the people to be completely humble, gentle, and patient. He made every effort to keep unity through the bond of peace.

Paul is warning believers that if we allow personal emotions to go unresolved it can act as an opening for Satan to come through, and it can disrupt our lives. Also, unchecked anger forces us to give way to the devil, giving him a foothold. And any open space for Satan is too much! As believers, we must guard all areas of our lives.

When we are in right relationship with Christ, we must put away those things that so easily entice us, for they will mess us up.
