Though Joseph’s brothers intended to harm him and snuff out his dreams, God allowed him to go through to bring it about.  ‘It’ might be jealousy, hatred, or betrayal. ‘It’ might be distress, misfortune, or sorrow. ‘It’ might be vengeance or punishment. Some trials put the power of God on display. They prepare us for the benefits of the Lord; and they have a way of making us depend on God.

Your trials may show others that they, too, can depend on God. If your heart is not clean, trials may also discipline you. Sadly, many do not know their trials may be spiritual warfare. God allows trials because He is using us for His glory. Therefore, stay strong. No matter what, dedicate your life to God in prayer.
