The Israelites circled Mount Seir for 40 years. God had given them instructions initially, but they went in circles instead, leaning on their own understanding instead of trusting in God. They were disobedient, they complained, grumbled, and participated in idolatry. They doubted God’s promised land. The Lord God decreed the 40 years of wilderness-wandering was because the Israelites did not trust and obey Him. Isn’t it true that we pretty much act the same way today?

There is no such thing as to over-surrender. So, stop going around in circles. Stop living in the desert. Know that God has healed you. He has delivered you. He has kept you. And you’ve got the nerve not to thank Him or give Him the glory. It’s now time for you to stand on your own two feet and face your giants head-on. If not, you will never step into your promised land.
