There are times in all our lives when there is darkness. Most people will sit and complain about the situation. Some will even try to get even. But Paul and Silas prayed and sang hymns to God while they were falsely jailed! In their worship they were cheerful. They were thankful and glorified God. The other prisoners listened to them with gladness. Their dark dungeon was converted into a place of worship.

If you are a true believer, there is reason to always rejoice in your time of midnight. Jesus is light and we are light bearers. So, though you may be going through darkness, continue to celebrate God through worship, prayer, hymns, and thanksgiving!
