Description

Though many Jews rejected the gospel, the Ephesians did not. They heard and believed; therefore, they were saved. Paul said they were marked in Christ with a seal, the promised holy Spirit. This is symbolic of a validation made by one of authority yet to receive an inheritance in heaven with the Lord, guaranteed by the holy Spirit, who dwells inside you.

Is your seal broken? Is there evidence of tampering? Is there a leak in your faith? Is your zeal for loving the Lord still fresh? Can you sustain this race? Though the seal is an invisible mark, it gives assurance. It gives authentication. It brings closure and confirmation. It guarantees and ratifies.
