Paul encouraged the church to live a life worthy of the gospel. He gave an appeal for steadfastness and unity. He advised us and our communities that Christ longs for us. We are to stand firm in the Lord. Even the two quarreling women from the church of Philippi, were to be of the same mind as the Lord. God still had purpose for their lives as He does in our lives. We should be an example and model of every virtue.

Let your gentleness be evident for all. In everything pray, ask, and show thanksgiving. The peace of God transcends all understanding regarding all in Christ Jesus. If we are in touch with Him, we’ll be directed as to how and when to speak. Paul was taught to be content in whatever state he was in. And so should we. Think on the good things!
