Isaiah 26:3-4 NIV
Subject
Resetting Your Mind, Msg. 2
Description

The name Isaiah means salvation, helper. Isaiah was the son of Amoz. His home was Jerusalem, where his ministry took place. He—the author of this book—was a great orator and preacher. He was able to expound upon the sovereignty of God; and moved his thoughts about a nation to an individual. Isaiah said that perfect peace is possible here and now. A state of complete tranquility and security transcends external circumstances that only come from those of us who fully trust in God and keep our minds focused on Him because He also trusts in us.

Sadly, some of us cannot enjoy peace because our minds are set on turmoil. Many of us cannot trust God because we need to bring our thoughts into captivity. We need to set our minds on things above. We have allowed our thoughts to be caught up on circumstances. But Isaiah speaks on behalf of the Lord. He wants us to know that peace is possible. Even in this stressful and troubled world. We have got to trust in the Lord. It is time to reset our minds. Let go and let God handle your circumstances by faith.
