Angelic Intervention, Msg. 9
Written between AD62-63, the Acts of the Apostles, tells of Peter & John who stood before the Sanhedrin Court, the same court that tried Jesus. These two apostles were in Jerusalem in full operation of the Great Commission, going to teach all men in every nation whatever Jesus wanted them to teach. The priest and captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees (aristocrats and wealthy merchants), filled with jealousy about followers of Christ, approached Peter and John, then seized all the apostles, and placed them in jail. However, God dispatched an angel to release them.
There is no prison that is so dark and strong that God cannot stop by and visit with us. If it is His will, He will bring us out. Now is not the time to point fingers nor drift into political posturing. God is not of any political party. God is Spirit. The whole earth belongs to Him. When we are a witness for Christ, we’ll be an ambassador for Him. We'll share our testimony about Him. No one else can hinder us from witnessing for Him.
