Central Passage
Luke 11:2 KJV
Subject
When You Pray, Say…, #3
Description

The kingdom of God embraces all created intelligences both in heaven and on earth who are willingly subject to God, and thus in fellowship with Him. Jesus was a prayer warrior. He encouraged His disciples that when they prayed, they should say, "Your kingdom come."

We do not belong to the world. That’s why the world hates us. It will hate us because of the name of Jesus. He was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane, they took Him for questioning, and then took him to the governor—Pontius Pilate—for a trial. Soldiers mocked Him and placed a crown of thorns on His head. Pontius Pilate looked Jesus in the eye and asked Him what truth was. This tells us that folks don't even know what truth looks like; even while it is staring them in the face. Yet they will crucify truth.

At Calvary, they stretched Jesus wide, He hung His head, and then He died. If the world did that to Jesus, they will do worse to you and me because our kingdom is in another world. Our kingdom come.
